About Me

I’m Craig Bonnar, a photographer driven by movement, energy, and perspective.

I picked up a camera in 2015, originally shooting cars and automotive culture while building my own connection to the scene. Over time, that passion expanded into travel, nature, and eventually action sports—where everything clicked.

Snowboarding, mountain biking, and high-energy environments gave me a new way to see photography. The speed, the risk, the atmosphere—it all felt familiar. Whether it’s a rider mid-trick, a quiet alpine sunrise, or a moment behind the scenes, I aim to capture what it feels like to be there.

I’ve photographed events, athletes, and environments across Whistler, including Crankworx and the NorAm Cup, along with private events and brand-focused shoots. While much of my work has started through passion and connection, my focus is growing into professional collaborations with athletes, brands, and events.

What drives me most is giving people a new perspective—especially when they get to see themselves through that lens.
